The workshop held by Ștefan Constantinesproposes a short cartographic incursion into the exploration of deltaic spaces, trying to answer some fascinating questions:
How is a delta formed and what are the most important deltas of the Earth?
What was the first map of the Danube Delta?
How do we manage to read a map? Is there a specific cartographic language?
What are the most appropriate colors to represent water, swamps, sandhills or forests?
Young explorers will then also be able to identify the most important online resources where they can download free maps. Finally, we will develop mental maps of the surrounding space and look for answers to the big cartographic question: What is the story behind each map?
